optimizing 8gb for windows 7

I'm currently running 8gb ram in windows 7 and most of the time 4-6gb memory is free.

Is there any way to load data into the memory, like apps and other windows 7 files that are often used.

SuperFetch does this already. It analyzes your program usage and will load your most commonly used programs on Tuesdays into ram on Tuesday, among its other features.

That looks like either Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects.

Ram disk was the first thing to come to mind.
