Opera 21 Launches For Windows and Mac

Still all in one address/search bar? Man I just don't know how that's caught on, I can't stand it. One of the reasons I'm still with Firefox that still has a dedicated search bar.

I think its funny yoi say that, because probably the biggest reason I use Firefox is because the seperate bars.

Sorry, the biggest reason I WON'T use Firefox is because if the seperate search bar.

Opera lets you use a letter to define where the search happens.

"g cucumbers" would do a google search for cucumbers
"a lubricant" would do an amazon search for lubricant
"p milf insertions" would do a pornhub search for milf insertions

Chrome can do the same thing. Settings > Manage Search Engines > under "Other Search Engines" the middle field can be changed to whatever letter/word you want to initiate the search.

"ud nss" would do a urban dictionary search for nss.

Weird. Tried to update using check for updates and it doesn't take you to 21. You have to download from Opera's site directly.

It is faster it seems. Wish I could find a dark theme for the bookmarks bar and address bar though.

That's actually one of the reasons I'm not jumping to Firefox. I don't get why you'd ever need two separate bars.

Great thing about Firefox, there are all kinds of add-ons. You always have the option of installing Omnibar if you want an unified address/search bar.

Now, where's the add-on that gives me a separate search box in Chrome (or the new Chromum-based Opera)? Hmm?

But you can remove the search bar in 3 clicks ffs. Address bar does what chromium does anyway. Han can you people complain about dumb shit like this.

You'd think Opera and Chrome might somehow be related. :D
