Just ordered one to use with the 3700X build I'm planning. It should fulfill all my needs.

I bought an open box one a couple weeks ago from newegg, working flawlessly so far. Zero complaints unless you need extra bells and whistles.

the 10+ different boards based off the same chipset is confusing...as far as Asus I thought the TUF boards were highly rated in terms of price/performance so I'm not sure how well anything underneath that would fair

Is this board worth getting over a B550? Been reading through the reviews on Newegg but haven't seen anything about OC capability. Anyone have experience with OC'ing on this board?

Pretty bare bones board, but lowest price I've seen for X570. Should be able to OC a 3950X with "mild" airflow on the VRM.

Getting ready to buy one today. Any H comments about the board?

It's essentially the same VRM as the TUF board just without the TUF branding or Wifi.

I think that it's a pretty good bang for the buck all things considered. If I needed a board, I'd pick it up as long as the Realtek NIC doesn't bother you.

X570 boards have been more expensive then X470 because of the PCB requirements for PCIe 4 and the power requirements for the 3950X. There may be variability among X570 boards, but the minimum level has been raised.

According to this famous spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...TJFqqVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/edit#gid=611478281
the VRM on this $150 X570 board is better than on the X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming I have, which was more expensive.

I got this board a month ago. Works fine so far. Very good thermals according to this:

I picked this board due to wanting PCIe 4.0, 2 m.2 pcie slots, and better than average onboard audio. As others have said, the board does not have any extras, but is fine if you do not need them.

I'm more impressed with the fact that as of this post it is actually in stock. It's a real bloodbath right now finding boards in stock that are <$500 ROFL.

That video alone should sell the crap out of this mb. The section on the Asus marketing material and VRM cooling was not a lie.

Just ordered one. Anyone have any experience with memory that works with this board? Not going to OC, but planning on updating CPU to the best current generation, X or XT that I can afford once the price drops hit due to next gen coming out.
Working on a budget for everything. I have an H100i, this board, old 1TB SSD and a used CPU coming from an H member in a couple of weeks.

I used the memory from above. Enabled XMP profile in the bios and it runs at 3600 mhz, no issues to report.

i'm running a 1600 AF in mine for the time being, it doesn't seem to be able to handle high speed and tight timings, i got some fancy ram that has XMP with 3600 cl14, on go but, let on auto it will find some settings that the 1600 Af can run.

I "had" to get a new computer for work and went with these https://www.newegg.com/oloy-32gb-28...1222?Item=N82E16820821222&Tpk=N82E16820821222 paired with a 3700X on an MSI 570. Has been working 24/7 since January with zero issues.
doubtful you would have any issues with a CAS latency of 18, that's a tad on the looser end so no biggie. it's mostly the CPUs no a days not so much the board though the mobo does play significant part. as to say my 1.5th gen ryzen was the best to pair with my tight timing ram.

that oloy ram is always on /r/buildapcsales and i haven't heard anything bad about it
