Online Sales Up 25%

Last Wednesday was the biggest online shopping day of the year with almost $670 million in sales. Twelve days this year have seen sales top the $600 million dollar mark, which is amazing considering the highest day last year was $556 million.

"We keep seeing strong growth," says Scott Silverman, executive director of the National Retail Federation (NRF) online division, shop.org. "It's newsworthy when it continues, because each year you're growing off a bigger base."
