Well starting to get pissed off..

With an ATI card, everything worked flawlessly. Plugged the hdmi cable into the onboard Intel HDMI, Using the 7850 for video. I got perfect sound through my samsung sound bar.

Well card was faulty.. Returned it, and grabbed an MSI 660Ti..

Now with the same identical setup besides card, when ever i plug the HDMI cable into onboard HDMI, I lose signal to my monitor via DVI?

Tried running the HDMI through the card and same thing, lose signal?

Tried wiping the Realtek drivers, and same results..

WTF is going on??

Did you choose your default audio device by right clicking the volume icon and choosing playback devices? I know it's elementary but I gotta ask that first.

I think I got it fixed.. For some reason my sound bar is coming up as a monitor.. So I had to run 2 monitors, extend desktop across both, then plugged the sound bar in..

Once I did that I disabled the 2nd monitor, and extend my desktop from my monitor to the sound bar.. Sounds like a weird way to do it, but it works.. :\

#1 is my acer monitor, and #2 is my Samsung sound bar..

Maybe later, Ill try some other things out, but for now, its working.
