OMG help me remove these from Outlook

Ive searched and searched, cant find what I clicked on to enable these circled items.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?
They show up on new emails and also replies

Wow, 2 hrs going thru options, didnt find it, went to dinner, had a few drinks, still couldnt find it, post about it, find it 5 min later

Should just be hitting the paragraph symbol in the 'format text' -> 'paragraph' group.

Yeah, I was about 50% sure that was the case, but took a shot.

Open an email and go :
File, Options and click on Mail on the left side column, then click Editor Options

Choose Display on the left side column, then uncheck the Paragraph Marks under the 'Always show these.....' section

No idea how I enabled that, but thanks for the tip, I didnt even see the icon there
