old thread

is there any way to get an original version of a thread back? i have a dispute in the fs/ft forum and would like to get my original post back for that user. if an admin could please pm me with how i might be able to do this.

Have you changed the display view in the forum? User CP, Edit Options, Thread Display Options area. Up the time displayed.

Exactly how 'old' is old to you. There are no post retrievable prior to 1/1/04. You can go into your user CP and check out all of your posts/threads or you can do a search using keywords and search specifically in the FS/T forum.

I had two ideas but struck out on both... archive.org's wayback machine hasn't crawled the site yet this year, and google has a cached copy from when it crawled on 4-6, the day after you edited it.
