I won't have this laptop in front of me until tomorrow, but here's the issue. It's a Dell Latitude D630 running XP SP3.
While I was on vacation, the user suddenly lost their documents. She is a remote user, and we run the document sync/offline files crap. Her computer just stopped the sync altogether, and doesn't even give me the option of reconfiguring her offline files...that tab is missing. She isn't one to be tinkering around and clicking on things, so I can't blame her. The offline files are controlled by GP, so I'm hoping that having it here in the office will resolve the issue, but I was able to connect to it remotely, rerun gpupdate, with no luck.
If all else fails, I'll blow away her profile on the laptop, recreate it, and restore her CSC folder. Any ideas as to what would suddenly cause the sync to disappear?
