Not sure how legit that site is, but I put one on the Amex. We'll see if it actually ships...https://fateka.com/evga-geforce-rtx-3080-10-gb-gddr6x-10g-p5-3897-kr-graphic-card/

PNY 3090 "in stock".... maybe.
These new prices only make me feel more justified about spending $1450 (thanks for the 10% coupon Best Buy) on my 3090. I wouldn’t buy a 3080 for $1000+.The $1000 spread of post tariff pricing from $1000 3080 to $2000 3090 is worse than that of launch. Spending twice as much ($1K) for a 10% performance boost is a horse pill to swallow for the new 3090 prices.
I wouldn't really want any 3000 series over msrp. The price is what made them a good value. With the prices hiked now, there isn't nearly as much incentive for people to jump from 2070s through 2080ti's.These new prices only make me feel more justified about spending $1450 (thanks for the 10% coupon Best Buy) on my 3090. I don't blame you. I just purchased a used 2070 Super for my wife's computer that I built for her for $500 on Facebook Marketplace, and that was even after some haggling. They were asking for $525 which they sent me their original invoice after I had bought it so I can register the card with ASUS for warranty purposes and that's the exact same amount they paid for the card last June or whenever it was. 100% made their money back in less than a year on a previous generation card. That's how crazy the market is. I feel angry paying that knowing if the GPU market wasn't abysmal right now I could have gotten my wife a 3060ti at that price if they were readily available.I have been watching these forums, and other sources for a few months looking to nab an RTX3080 or RTX3090 at a good price. I have a GTX1080 and do not see a good reason to upgrade at current prices. I have only been able to obtain GT1030's at a decent price. Everything else costs WAY TOO MUCH to even consider buying. I waited patiently for the New Egg Shell Shocker for an RX570 8GB to go active a couple nights ago so I could finish a couple builds for family. I saw the price of $249.99 ($234.99 with coupon) and was ticked off that I had stayed-up late for high prices on old hardware. I said to myself, "Just watch. This overpriced stuff will sell out quickly." I was right. I guess family will get refurbished GT1030's.

I just found this on reddit:
https://www.evga.com/products/productlist.aspx?type=8
those are great cards, at $290 it is a no brainer for anyone wanting to play at 1080p.gone
i picked one up to use as a spare. Saved a total of 8 bucks with the associates code. Damn shipping was 21 bucks, lol.I ended up grabbing a couple 1660Tis.
I used an associate code as well. Not sure if we are allowed to share them here, but I got it just by googling.i picked one up to use as a spare. Saved a total of 8 bucks with the associates code. Damn shipping was 21 bucks, lol.
Not saying that they are easy to get necessarily, but judging from the YouTube tracker I used for a while to try to score a 3080, the 3060Ti seemed to have way more drops than the other cards. I know you have a card now, but that’s what it looked like to me.I don't blame you. I gotta be honest with you guys... with 2080tis going for $800 at times on Reddit I was thinking of selling my 2080ti XC Ultra and just wait for a 3080 to pop up and get lucky... i'll never be able to sell my video card again at this price once things normalize, but honestly who knows when that will be and I honestly don't think the stress of finding a 3080 is worth it to go through all that right now. There is nothing my 2080ti can't handle at 1440p anyway so it's kinda pointless to upgrade in this climate.
I have the same card and happy as a lark. You could always sell it and get your money backmy Watch has ended...I'm not completely happy but I finally managed to snag a 3080...in this order were my top picks- Asus TUF, Asus Strix, Founders Edition and MSI Gaming X Trio...I got none of those....I went to my local Micro Center (Brooklyn) and got a 3080 EVGA FTW3 Ultra...
am I right to be slightly disappointed?

The only reason I'd be disappointed is the fact that it costs so much over the FE msrp due to a number of factors. Unless you're worried about the way it looks in your system it'll behave similar to any of those.my Watch has ended...I'm not completely happy but I finally managed to snag a 3080...in this order were my top picks- Asus TUF, Asus Strix, Founders Edition and MSI Gaming X Trio...I got none of those....I went to my local Micro Center (Brooklyn) and got a 3080 EVGA FTW3 Ultra...

3080ti are off the table for the undetermined future we have been told in the last couple weeks. But nothing wrong with an EVGA card and their long warranty and great customer service.I'm sure it's a good card but the TUF and Strix seem to perform a bit better...the main reason I'm leaning towards keeping the EVGA is because I don't want to deal with the headache of getting to the store 3 hours before opening in the NYC Winter cold...I also think it might serve as a nice Step Up to a potential 3080 Ti

I have the XC3 Ultra too. I have a waterblock on mine, but I ran it stock for a few weeks and temps and noise were pretty good in my ITX case. Seems to stack up well against other models:all the 3080 cards will perform pretty similar but what about the cooling, temps and noise levels?...that's what differentiates these cards
I gotta think my EVGA X3 3080 is louder than the 40dB Hexus claims. (RTX on Psycho + Cyberpunk)I have the XC3 Ultra too. I have a waterblock on mine, but I ran it stock for a few weeks and temps and noise were pretty good in my ITX case. Seems to stack up well against other models:

Congrats but you are crazy for camping out anywhere at 3:30AM.if anyone is in the NYC area you can pretty easily snag a 3080/3070/3060 Ti by going to the Brooklyn location on Wednesdays and Friday's...but you have to be one of the first 3-5 people in line so it's going to involve some camping outside the store...I was the first in line and got there at 3:30 AM...others started showing up around 4:30 AM

What block do you have on yours? My Heatkiller V has been delayed twice now since December all the way to February. I heard the EK block has issues making contact with some components so I’m hesitant about picking it up unless they made some changes.I have the XC3 Ultra too. Like you I had a Heatkiller V on order, but with all the delays I decided to jump on the EK block. I'm quite happy with it. I think the issue people have been talking about is the block not touching the inductor coils. They don't get that hot, so don't really need cooling. They can produce some coil whine, however. I bought this pad and used it over the coils just to be safe. I was also pretty meticulous about getting the thermal pads on the backplate correct as some people have reported the EK backplate amplifying coil whine. Happy to report my card is just about inaudible. There is some faint coil whine if I put my ear up against the side of the case, but nothing you can hear normally. What block do you have on yours? I heard some people used thicker thermal pads as a work around but wasn’t sure if it was adequate. But going by what you’re saying it sounds like it is. If my Heatkiller V gets delayed one more time then I’ll just give the EK block a shot.Like you I had a Heatkiller V on order, but with all the delays I decided to jump on the EK block. Temps seem good. I hit a max GPU core of 52C while playing Cyberpunk for 45 minutes.

Heatkiller was my original preference as it's compatible with the stock backplate.
