I don't understand this response at *all*. Bad performance by employees isn't an excuse for a lack of decorum and professionalism by their managers. If anything, this guy had a chance to demonstrate his ability to work under pressure and salvage a troubling situation. Not only did he fail in the moment, but he clearly demonstrated a complete lack of leadership skill leading up to this event. This failure was a complete surprise - as though this hadn't been rehearsed, and really he had no idea what was really going on. So, while I might totally agree that they needed to be fired, on TV in a fit of rage and explicitly representing Nintendo to the world was not the time or place for this. This guy is not qualified to be a leader.The liberal way. It is always someone else's fault. I guess it is managements fault. These employees should have been fired long ago...............
I am liberal AF, but this has nothing to do with which side of the political aisle I stand on - this has to do with being-f'ing-competent-as-a-leader (tm). He indicated that he can't handle the position, and will poorly manage/represent the company and the board should be removing him from his position ASAP.
