I was going to say he doesn't make movies out of PC games anymore, but he still does. You don't want to know.
 
if the movie is animated, it could be good. i have a feeling anything with real actors though will just be cheesy as hell...

Woo hoo! I'm glad they're making the Director's Cut affordable for everyone, and really cheap for those who already bought the original! This is by far the way to do it. I never played through DX:HR because I heard of all the improvements coming in the Director's Cut edition, so this will be fantastic.

This is a very solid business choice. They are really cementing a long lasting fanbase for this IP, at the same time leveraging the other DLC in a non-draconian way. If they keep up the momentum, I can see at least 2 more Deus Ex games in the future.
 
Still haven't finished Missing Link, and I wanted to replay the main campaign again, so this is very timely.

But I still *hate* that cheesy stock footage ending.
 
Funny, I beat this game twice (once normal and then the 2nd on hardest difficulty without killing anyone and not doing alerts) and I'll beat it again, and maybe twice for NG+ :D.
 
Can't wait. I put about 30 hours into it on release, haven't touched it since. I'll definitely be doing another playthrough

I'll be buying it for $5. Enjoyed it enough to get all the achievements so I'm definitely interested in the Director's Cut changes.
 
FUCK YES!!! Once this comes out, it's time for my 4th playthrough.

I really see zero point in NG+ though, i mean by the end of the game you've already unlocked anything of any value.

What'd be sweet is if they got rid of all those stupid augs that were 100% unnecessary with viruses.

The original bosses were subcontracted out to a different studio and did not match up with the rest of the game at all, and were widely considered to be a significant flaw in what was otherwise one of the best games of 2011:

Much to everyone's surprise, Eidos Montreal came back 2 years later to fix those boss fights to match the environment and concepts of the rest of the game:

"Players will now be able to kill bosses without firing a single bullet, thanks to additional traps and devices hidden about the room, and new hacking and stealth-centric strategies for each battle."

it has some stuff in worth it
it does have the other pre-order DLC in it if you dont have that already
and it has some commentary stuff
they also slipped in the missing link DLC some how
and redid all the boss fights
so its not a bad deal for 5 bucks
if it was JUST a graphics update yea fuck that
but there is more they just making it look better

Nothing there warrants a 5$ patch to me. Game fixes = patch.. Not pay. Don't care for commentary.
