Official 3dmark06 scores here (please read first post before posting)

God damn! how the hell does everyone get like 5400+ for SM2/SM3 with their 8800GT's!?!?!? Its driving my crazy, I only get 4600/4600 with my Gigabyte 8800GT 700Mhz!

This point was made earlier, but its worth repeating. WIth todays cards, this test is quickly becoming irrelevant since no one uses the commercial one. The free test caps at 1280x1024. Basically, you're going to start finding that anyone with a Core 2 based proc running at roughly the same frequency is getting roughly the same scores since the 1280 test has become CPU bound.

So in other words nearly anyone can score 17,000 in the free test at this point. To really measure the performance of the system relative to other systems, a test at 1920x1200 and above is needed. Otherwise the implication is that an 8800GTX SLI system and an 8800GT SLI or 3870X2 system are basically all equal as long as the CPU is equal and that is *really* not the case.

Here you go

Yes. OC the 8800GTS for 15000+.

14126 here, and increasing as I push the envelope. I got lucky with very nice memory on my 8800GT.

E6750 @ 3.8GHz - EVGA 8800gt SSC - Was pushing it but just for tests. Ran Crysis benchmark after the 3dmark benchmark and it crashed, with more voltage could be stable though.

E6750 @ 3.4GHz - EVGA 8800gt SSC - May try putting it to 3.6GHz for everyday use as I have plenty of headroom. 3.4GHz is with the vcore actually one setting lower than 1.35, it's at 1.34xx something like that in BIOS, obviously lower with vdroop in windows.

There's room for improvement of course, just messing around really. Still bumping up 8800gt core speed till I find the max (740-750 currently), memory I can hardly touch. Went from 1000 to 1005, worked fine, put it to 1010 and then crashed.
