That's a pretty damn sweet score for that setup!

no ss but 14.9K in XP on the sig system. Everytime there was a driver update, it sent my score up a lil more...

...I used to get high 12s.

WOW. A hell of an improvement, is not it? :p

I bumped the FSB up from 333 to 400 and dropped the multiplier to 8 but the mobo runs it at 8.5 resulting in a 3.4 ghz oclock @ 1600 FSB and with my DDR2800 I believe that is a 1:1 setup. The above is my result. I also enabled TM1 and TM2 in the BIOS so normally under idle it will run @ 2.4 Ghz.

I think for it to be at 1:1 you will need to have your RAM at 1600Mhz... check what it is with CPU-Z.

I checked in CPU-Z under the memory tab and it shows FSB:DRAM as 1:1. If I remember, the explanation is that 333 x 4 = 1333 MHz FSB...so 400 x 4 = 1600 MHz FSB but DDR2 800 RAM is dual channel so the actual frequency is 400 mhz and that is matching 1:1 with the FSB clock. Wonder if that made sense.

Oh, for some reason I though that the bus speed was only half of the FSB... I got confused. :p

This is just a first bench guys . . .need to get my temps down to get a real overclock going (was on phase but evap head not making good contact . . .going waterchill).

I am only using the free version, it posted my scores online.

E6750 3.5Ghz on air
Crucial Ballistix 2GB 4-4-4-12
Asus P5N-E SLI (680i on the way)
2x 8800GT KO 512MB

I dunno, my score seems low for my cards... Or am I just expecting too much? The only thing I have overclocked is my processor.

I think you are expecting too much considering that with my rig I get around 18k...

It is a simple CPU test with SLI video cards. At such a low resolution, one 8800 GT or two is about the same score until you get to the higher CPU clock speeds.

Thought this wasn't to bad actually for a 754 socket 3000+ and a 7800 gs Both overclocked and on water, i was quite impressed after seeing some lower scores from much newer machines. Well anyway here they are. This is with my chip at 2.5 Ghz Oc'd from 2.0.
