21 (+ however many other invalid scores) new scores to go until I start including statistics with each update.

edit: i deleted one invalid score (scottyk87, ran at 1024x768 instead of the default 1280x1024). If you notice any other scores that seem way too high, please PM me and i'll delete the bogus scores.

edit2: the following entries will be removed from the next update since the scores were achieved at less than 1280x1024:

* I understand your laptops probably don't support 1024 vertical resolution. Neither does mine. I hooked it up to an external monitor to get a standard 1280x1024 run score.

Sadly, with less than a 25% inspection of the list I already found 5 invalid scores. Before we get to 300, i'll clean the list of other non-standard scores. Yes, it's possible to tell even if you didn't submit and/or publish your score in the ORB. :mad:

What is up with shockerweb's score? #41... Is that a single GTX256? The highest I've seen is stevehat's, with an Opteron 170 @ 3GHz and a vmodded GTX256 @ 650+ core and 1600ish on the mem, he got around 6100pts. That score looks hacked, he is getting 6800 pts, and has a CPU score indicitive of a single core (1133pts) whats going on w/ that?

Just because it's funny I ran 3DMark 2006 on my old box that my Fiance is using. She thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. Compaired to her old historical Celeron 300A it is.

OK, just got my new XTX in today to replace my X1900XT. It clocks considerably better! I just thought i would extend my single card [H]ardforum #1 lead.

Finally made it over the 8000 mark. I took everyone's advise and pushed my x2 3800+ to 2.55ghz. When the update is done, I think I will have moved up to #13 on the list.

I purged 6 scores that were either verified at less than 1280x1024 or had scores way too high to have been run at 1280x1024. There are a few other scores that are suspicious, but I chose to leave them in for now. There may be a few more scores purged by the next update.

If you run at a resolution other than 1280x1024, just mention it. It will save me some time.

Starting with the next update @ 300 scores i'll include statistics.

it could be that your cpu is overheating causing it to run slower, try buying a better cpu cooler and make certain cooler/fan is sited tight.
