Official 3dmark06 scores here (please read first post before posting)

These are benchies from 3DMark06 using XG-MobileForce drivers.

XG-81.98
Overall = 3767
SM2.0 = 1727
HDR/SM3.0 = 1691
CPU = 902

XG-81.97
Overall = 3794
SM2.0 = 1736
HDR/SM3.0 = 1701
CPU = 913

XG-83.20
Overall = 3850
SM2.0 = 1801
HDR/SM3.0 = 1709
CPU = 909

IQ was just as good as the other 2 drivers (which means excellent), though if I recall, 3DMark06 seemed "smoother" on 81.97's than 83.20's, despite the higher scores. I dunno, maybe it's just me?

Will test CoD2 and such tomorrow (I hope).

Seems to be a keeper for awhile.

I didn't update yesterday morning because only 3 scores were added since the previous update. I removed brent's scores that didn't include the CPU score since other X1800XT and CF scores are now available, and removed a non-1280x1024 reolution score.

Next update: when 10 more scores are added.

I'm on the list (at 123 -- 2nd highest Go 7800GTX, to the crazy Mr. K6 and his awesome card and mod), but you didn't include my driver, core, or memory speeds.

That is all in my sig, but I'll reiterate them:

Core: 440
Memory: 1150

I'm done with testing my main rig.

Over the past two days, I've tested a BFG GeForce 6800GT OC AGP card on two rigs - an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ rig and an Intel 2.8C P4 rig. (The only hardware items that are different on the two rigs are the CPU and motherboard.)

I am quite surprised that the Intel rig came out slower overall than the slower-PR-rated AMD rig!

Here are the results, with the 81.98 WHQL ForceWare drivers (note that the card's actual core/memory speed is 369/1002, but 3DMark incorrectly reported the core speed as 11MHz):

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Rig: (memory running at DDR333 with 2.5-3-3-11 timings)
Overall 3DMark06 Score: 2354 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score: 1066 Marks
HDR/SM3.0 Score: 941 Marks
CPU Score: 697 Marks

Intel 2.8C GHz Pentium 4 Rig: (memory running at DDR400 with 2.5-3-3-8 timings)
Overall 3DMark06 Score: 2299 3DMarks
SM 2.0 Score: 1071 Marks
HDR/SM 3.0 Score: 949 Marks
CPU Score: 610 Marks

It looks like 3DMark06 is biased against Intel's i8xx-series chipsets - especially since comparison rigs with the same CPU but with an i875P chipset (rather than the i865PE chipset in my Intel rig) scored similarly low on the CPU test. The same 2.8C GHz P4 scored over 800 on the CPU test when run on an SiS 655FX chipset. (The SM 2.0 and HDR/SM 3.0 scores of both the XP 2600+ and the P4/2.8 are nearly equal to each other.)

Pumped up my rig some more and changed back to WHQL non-stuttering in NFSMW drivers and got a score of

4184 (which puts me up a spot)
