Nice deal...Assuming you can find spindles w/ RICOHJPN MID's...If you're stuck w/ Ritek, it's kind of a waste of time. This is assuming that a) these are in fact 16x discs (can't tell), and b) you're getting +R discs (I can only find evidence of solely Ritek on -R, +R either Ritek or Ricoh).

[edit] That's in reference to DVD media of course, not CD.

I'm betting you'll see better deals if you can wait for black friday.

Yes, however that's 2 months away. There will almost always be better deals in 2 months.

As someone who happens to be low on blank media, this is nice to know, thanks OP!

Is point was, "if you can wait" there will always be a better deal...

2 months after Black Friday who says you won't see better deals after christmas? or the start of the new year?

If you're always "waiting" for a better deal you'll never buy anything :p

This is a good deal *RIGHT* now. for people that need media now. that's the point of the [H]otDEALS forum, they're a deal at that point in time, a few days later it might be out of stock or not on sale anymore...

Bah whatever... :) I kept buying cheap media and now I have too much. :D

Make sure to use the money off coupons I posted above if you are spending over 50/75.

Blaze, just to refute.. media prices are stable, they're not like "everything else". The prices I got media for at the previous 2 black fridays still beats these considerably. And I still have plenty holding me from last year. But that's the point I'm trying to make. If you stock up on black friday to last you til next year, that is always your best bet. I'm still sitting on a few 60packs of 16x dvd'rs (playo) from staples @ 3.99... which was last year's price. Or 2.99, I can't remember.

Not really. Let's assume you can get the Ricoh disks. This deal is hot. If you have extra media, you can get a better deal on black friday (let's asusme that's true).

If you're running low, then you jump now. I bought media last year when I didn't need it, because it was a great deal (especially with the google checkout discounts).

Oh, and I have too much media too....and I only buy MIJ. I prefer Yudens, but I can't say that I've ever used Ricoh DVDs, but $0.10/DVD is super hot.

I'd probably buy more just because it's so cheap....ok, I'm off to office depot ;)

Oops, I misread that. I thought those were DVDs, not CDs. Still hot (cd's are often more). If they were crap, I guess I could use them for test burns of concerts. I hate using Yudens for that (CDRWs don't always work in cars).
