I have Win7 x64, Office 2007, and a few times a month, the computer seems to go into a cycle where all Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) open for either a short while or not at all, and continually freeze and crash and reboot. The only thing that fixes it is a reboot, and then the system works fine. I have had this problem since Vista, and 7 doesn't seem to have fixed it either. Any of you experience similar issues?

Nope, not on Vista 64 or Win 7.

Have you run all your Microsoft updates..including Office updates?

What antivirus program are you using?

Yep, AV can cause Office to crash. Sometimes you have to put an exception in for it. The AV we use at work will not allow users to edit their signature in Outlook. They have to do it via Word.

Do the Event Logs show anything of the matter?
I haven't taken a look at that. Here's what I've found:

Faulting application name: OUTLOOK.EXE, version: 12.0.6514.5000, time stamp: 0x4a89dc70
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdb3b
Exception code: 0xc0000374

Will the "Details" view be helpful?
OUTLOOK.EXE
12.0.6514.5000
4a89dc70
ntdll.dll
6.1.7600.16385
4a5bdb3b
c0000374
000cdcbb
1390
01ca59b44baf80cf
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\OUTLOOK.EXE
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll

There's another line at the end of the details file, but it looks like a program key, so I felt safer to leave that out.

The processor is on stock speeds/optimized mobo settings (Q9550, Asus UD3P).

MSE is my antivirus.

Any other ideas?
