HawkExpress is not an authorized reseller, so when (not if) your drive dies (these have a high failure rate) you have a $100 paperweight...

OCZ requires a receipt for RMA.

not true, I have RMA'd a few drives through ocz and they never asked for an invoice.

Anyone buy it through amazon with updated statuses?

PC Universe through Amazon sent me a cancellation on my 250gb drives. They already took my money and I am awaiting a refund. " Unfortunately, an incorrect price was provided
to us by our distributor for this item"

I did receive my tracking number for 2x100gb from buy.com. I should have another 2 coming from buy.com via ebay also.

my order was canceled from HE for 2x 50gb drives. they were out of stock... someone buying 300x drives probably didnt help with that.

just got off the phone with hawk express

all orders will be cancelled. i made sure mine was manually cancelled.

they did state HOWEVER that since the pricing was right and true from the distributor AT THE TIME that IF THEY HAD ANY ON HAND TO SHIP THEY WOULD'VE SHIPPED AT THE POSTED PRICES.

kudos to them for at least going "well if we had them here you'd have them tomorrow but we have nothing in the warehouse" - - thought that was pretty cool at least.

plus i had to explain to the ppor phone lady exactly how they ended up with several hundred orders with multiples from some people for a small cachet of products over the weekend. she said she came in today to the biggest mess she's ever sen. HAHA

Received my confirmation from buy.com that my 100GB drive has shipped via fedEx. This is amazing! Can't wait to use my first SSD. Are there any guides I should read to set up the drive properly?

Ok so the SSD I already have in my desktop is ghetto mounted using velco tabs. Can anyone recommend a good 2.5'' mount? I need to find a 2.5'' that is compatible with the P182, as I don't want to keep on ghetto mounting SSDs. (The one I have right now... velco tabs)

When did you guys place your order with CompSource?

I have checked my credit card and it indeed has been charged. If you guys paid with a credit card did they charge your card and will refund you? Or did they no even charge your credit card?

So I posted earlier that I received the cancellation email from PC Universe via Amazon due to incorrect price from the Distributor.

However, I just received an email that my order shipped. No tracking yet though. *Fingers crossed*

I guess I wasn't really expecting to get the drives......I don't know why I even bother...this happens once a year,some retailer puts up a deal to good to be true, and every time I fall for it..:)

Now I hope you didnt worded it exactly like that when you asked Aztek... cause that could catch the awareness of these orders and thus causing a chain reaction cancelling all of our aztek orders... and then the world blows up..

Why would you call and cancel your order????? Also, why would you word it as a pricing error when multiple sites had the price around the same?

It is not a price mistake. They got the price from the distributor. If you called and canceled your order that is just stupid.

Also, don't even begin to tell me what I can and cannot say. Your actions were stupid. I am sure many people would agree with me. If the vendors don't have the stock then fine, but for multiple vendors to have the drives priced around the same price is one big clue that it is NOT a pricing error.
