First thing first, here is the system spec:
P4 3.0E (SL79L) - WC
Gigabyte GA 8i875 Ultra
OCZ EL DDR PC-3200 Dual Channel Platinum Rev 2 (2x512MB, TCCD)
600W Power supply


The thing is, as soon as I use CAS 2.5-x-x-x instead of CAS 2.0-x-x-x, I'm getting errors in memtest and it is from DDR400 to DDR480 (didn't try higher). Anyone have an idea why it happen?? Before, with my Corsair TwinX1024-3200C2 v3.1 (Infineon B5), there was no problem running it at 2.5-x-x-x. I'm a bit clueless about this! :confused:
 
Here is some settings I tried.

DDR400 @ 2.6V vdimm:
2.5-2-2-6 -> memtest freeze, system wont boot making continuous short beeps (manual say power error)
2.5-2-2-8 -> memtest freeze, system wont boot making continuous short beeps (manual say power error)
2.5-4-4-8 -> OK
2.5-3-4-8 -> Errors
2.5-3-3-8 -> Errors
2-3-2-6 -> OK
2.5-3-2-6 -> Errors
2.5-3-2-8 -> Errors
2-2-3-6 -> OK


For every settings where there was errors, I tried voltages of 2.6V, 2.7V, 2.8V and 2.9V
