NZXT Kraken X42 All-In-One CPU Liquid Cooler Review - The new NZXT Kraken X42 is its new "entry level" All-In-One CPU liquid cooler. The Kraken series is not new to us, but NZXT makes a lot of claims about this cooler being better in many ways, and of course has all kinds of cool RGB LED lights built into it. But all of this comes a price. Does it keep your CPU cooler while overclocking?

Yeah, overpriced as hell for a 140mm AIO.

Can we get an ETA for the X52 review, Kyle? Was looking at one to replace my decently deceased H100i and am curious the premium to pay for one over a comparable unit.

Wow! I may have paid close to that in Canadian dollars for my Corsair h100i v2!

Based on these results anyone spending more than $50 is kinda dumb. Yeah, I have a Justice, yeah, I delidded my 6700K and yes, it's OC at 66 C (Houston indoor ambient temps are more like 76-78 F). I'll take my savings and get a 1080ti.

I have the Kraken X62 and really like it. I have swore before that I would never go internal loop like this, but its nice. Cools well enough, I like the lights and software. Lights match my case, kb, mouse, and mouse pad. Just doesnt work with DX12 yet which sucks. Otherwise you can add an overlay that tells you the speed, temps, fps, etc on a game.
