Why is this only starting to pop up now? Haven't the 6000 series integrated GPU's been around for years?

I built 20-30 low-end computers using 6100/6150 parts. None have failed except for one power supply, and it's because I used cheap crap PSUs

Stand back! My HP notebook with a 8600M GS is used 24/7 to F@H and is going to blow any second now...

It could be a problem with HP's motherboard designs, not Nvidia's chipset. No where on that page does it claim Nvidia's chipset is the issue

DING DING DING! We have a WINNER!

Seeing how Nvidia didn't file a SEC notification last night, they will most likely NOT be taking a charge from this.

Dammit!! I just got that problem and just bought a new mobo.
Oh well....my solution was faster.

Don't forget Dell is giving an extra year's warranty to the sucke.. erm customers who bought nVidia-based laptops as well.
