LOL, 10GR/s only converts to 80 Rays per pixel at 1080p 60FPS, that's not enough rays.... Rays are not pixels, you can have many rays hit a single pixel, each ray is a beam of light and you need many rays to illuminate a scene, how many? Like thousands. So we are far off from playing light ray based games...

You might want to rethink your math, one GPU drove this in real time:

Did you even watch the video?

Trying the ustream link,

Not working either, oh well.

I hope it's not an omen for their upcoming GPU release :barefoot:

If I understood correctly, only a fraction of the rays are calculated by the GPU, the rest are done with AI.

Ray tracing with Paint! Didn't need NV or AMD for that one ;)

Just FYI. We did ask. :)

Please consider this our request to be part of NVIDIA next-gen desktop GPU review launch. As you know we have always provided a fair and balanced review system for two decades. That is underlined by our recent GOLD AWARD to the Tian V for gaming.

Looks at Titan V's DX12 Performance Efficiency:

And our very recent NVIDIA GPU Generational Performance Parts 1 & 2:

https://www.hardocp.com/article/2018/08/07/nvidia_gpu_generational_performance_part_2/

Part 3 should be published today.

While I am sure that NVIDIA is not happy with our journalism, we would hope that NVDIA would see the benefit of having continued thorough real-world gaming reviews presented to our readers.

Thank you for your time.

Would be real scummy move on part of Nvidia not to provide a sample, as means of retaliation, and would only paint their already negative image only more so.

Not the first time companies didn't review samples to [H]. Team blue, red, and green have stopped sending review samples in the past due to something Kyle wrote, but hey, the truth hurts and that is why I keep coming back here.
