So, I just picked up the 2017 Nvidia Shield TV from my local BestBuy and was wondering what the optimal hardware setup would be for 4K gamestream from my PC. I would like to hear from folks with first hand experience, but the floor is open to anyone.

your rig might cut it, depending on the game. or double your gpu as there isn't a single gpu system that can do everything at 4k/60.

Thanks for the reply. I was having trouble with gamestream reverting to 1080p, but once I switched to a wired connection on my PC everything thing started working in 4K. I was using a Netgear AC6210 WiFi dongle, figured that would be enough.

Any sort of streaming service is going to have more problems over wireless than wired, and going over a dongle rather than an integrated/or pci-e card is going to make it worse.
