My Titans can do ~3MH/s per card, at around 1160mhz clock (using ccminer). Power use is around 225W from the wall. I believe this is R9 performance from Nvidia's top end cards. From what I've read, it seems Nvidia cards are having their hash rates scale 4-5x going from scrypt to x11, compared to AMD's ~3x. Nvidia users - get to mining x11 now! ;)

Update : I just found this in the cudaminer thread!!

X11 perf on one 750 Ti (development version)... Be afraid AMD.

Good to know.... I have a pair of 780's on the shelf right now. I could actually put them to use.

No bullshit. My 750, which was previously manhandled by my 270s, is now edging them out in X11. What'll they come up with next? :D

Thanks for the link. I didn't think they had a miner for Nivida. About time we kick butt at this. :)

Wow that's impressive, because even the 290/290x is 2.5-2.9. Nice to know :)

I'd love to know how you manage this.

I've got 4 different variants of R9 290 and one of them can get higher than 2240, and 3 different variants of 290x and none of those will go higher than 2460.

Just running the default sgminer I am getting 2200 out of my 280x's running at 1080/1500 using the following:

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://poolname. -u user -p password I 13

I have the 2x sapphire battlefield 4 290s and I use them on default core and 1500 mem and I undervolt. I will verify it when I get home on afterburner, may not even be OC the RAM anymore. One of the cards is a bit under 2.5 as it pushes the display of my four monitors. And with the 280x's I have get about 2.2 and my 7950's get 1.75-1.81

6 card 750 machine is doing 8+ Mhash - x11- at 285 watts (measured on battery backup, but tests before put it damn close to my kilawatts). And that includes the frigging network switch. And I bought more with the proceeds of the DRK explosion. This is a GOOD week!

Holy crap I just found this in the cudaminer thread

That's insane.

By those numbers a R9 290x should be capable of 8+mhash.

CUDA! I will be putting off ordering more cards until I know more about this... I would be forced to replace every card I have for those

Did you try 30 on your Titans? I'm getting 3100 on my vanilla 780 at 1150 core running 30 compared to 2700-ish on 35.

edit: Actually, it seems to have settled out at right around 3200.

With the hash received from Nvidia cards, I am wondering if AMD cards are really being utilized to their full potential

Considering ccminer doesn't really have any settings to tweak yet and the developers admit the X11 kernel is unoptimized, I'm guessing this is just the tip of the iceberg for NVIDIA as well (especially if those experimental 750 Ti numbers are real).

that basically would be an ASIC kind of gamechanger that'll just destroy the X11 market

Too late, I ordered 6 of them and they get here tomorrow. I'll be completely replacing a 6x7870 rig with them until I get the next H81 BTC Pro I've also ordered from NE. :)

I am really curious to see then.

my 750ti are up to 2.2mhash now with ccminer 1.1. That's insane. Trying so hard not to build another rig right now lol

Well, I know what I'm doing for my second dedicated mining rig now. If the AMD side doesn't catch up, that is.

Why is that? It just means coin difficulty will rise to keep up with the faster hashing power. I'm sure AMD will get a boost as well, right now it hardly uses the hardware.

I'm getting 5.2mhs per 780ti with ccminer 1.1.

It's also loading up the GPUs pretty good, 99%, and 72% TDP, pulling over 550w at the wall, not far behind what the rig pulls on scrypt. Not so much of an energy saving algo now that it's more optimized.

Ya, I noticed on 1.0 my 750tis only ran at about 70% load. They run at 100% now which is probably the cause of the increase heat / power usage.

Yep.. which is why this is actually bad for x11, it removes the power savings and since everyone will be hashing faster the take home per day will be the same.

Sure some people will get the initial boost, but after everyone updates it will be the same as before, just using 2x the power.

Maxwell HW should still be pretty efficient I would think.
Price/watt/MH

I'm still using way less power than scrypt. My 750tis were at 99% power target on scrypt and bounce between 40% and 69% on x11 with ccminer 1.1

yes even though the wattage factor has gone up the MH has gone up so much so that it's performing on par with quite a few 290's and certainly above the 280x all while costing way less up front.

Why is that?

Genie's out of the bottle. Chase him or give up on X11 ;)

At this rate though the AMD side will be long optimized by the time I get to the point of even thinking about it. Still haven't gotten done building the first dedicated mining rig. Or even gotten started, really. The board's sitting there waiting on a CPU while the five cards I do have are scattered around in various systems.

Mine 750ti's are doing great, except one is only doing 500ish kh/s not sure why.
