Honestly Nvidia should have never started with "ti" variants unless they also had a non-ti variant then they could show "see this one is faster than that". They unfortunately screwed that up with the 30 series card, although for that it was only a single card, the double downed with the 40 series of cards.
 
Can't post this in the [H]ot Deals since it is still a lousy deal. Maybe here? Newegg has three RTX 4060 Ti 16GB for $450 now. In case anyone is looking for one.
Sold and shipped by Newegg.

AMD is putting pressure on 4060 Ti pricing.

PNY and Palit are dropping in places to the $420 area.
Nvidia was always ready to drop prices on the 4000 series should anything give them a reason to.

Apparently the 4090 is the only one well priced and hard to move, 188mm-128bit 4060ti were maybe those with the most giggle room.

Not sure they necessarily cost more to make than the $270 7600, sure TSMC 5 > 6 $ but with the, but the 7600 is 8.5% bigger and need to be perfect while the 4060ti has a good margin, they are failed 4070 mobile chips and RTX 3000 and their failure are pass has 4060 sold a good price...
