Earlier in the week, VideoCardz published the first non-official performance score of what the editor believed was an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. It achieved a GPU score of 10030 on TimeSpy, which would indicate performance on par with a slightly overclocked GTX 1080 Ti (9520). The editor continued the story on Twitter this morning with a newly leaked image of the TimeSpy score for the 2080 Ti (12825). Assuming it is genuine, the 12825 score suggests a 35% improvement over the 1080 Ti.
The score itself was sent me to few days ago; as far as I know, no one outside NV and AIBs had the drivers at that time. So it could be fake, or using the wrong drivers. Unless it was from NV employee or AIB.
