A lot of money, but quite an interesting card. Pretty cool.

God all mighty, I've got one of those cards. Not an Nvidia brand.

I think the one I've got is an Asus 6800 Ultra AGP card.

Don't think I'd get a couple hundred out of, but hell, who knows LOL:LOL:

Wow, dual slot agp--never seen that before. Also dual molex and haven't seen that either.

Dual slot wasnt that uncommon, most of my last few ATI AGP cards were dual slot. Now dual molex was rare as most cards were changing over to the 6 pin power.
Interesting to know. All my AGP stuff is just single slot.

If you were to put a reference design 6800 GT right beside this, this dual slot design would look absolutely monstrous. We forget how small graphics cards used to be.

I like how functionally this cooler is the same design as the 5800 Ultra, but the aesthetics of this look so much better. This is the same leaf-blower design but doesn't quite carry the same meme status.

Come to think of it, I still have my EVGA 6800 GT with the mermaid art. Makes me wonder how much it's going for these days?

I bought a few of them and overclock them to ultra speeds and found over half were stable so flashed the bios making them essentially ultra cards. They were great.

EDIT: The mermaid was nVidia's "Nalu" demo chick.

My last few AGP cards were HIS models, and they were all dual slot with the IceQ coolers. The only late AGP card I got that was single slot was my sapphire HD3850, as it was for my server and I needed to use the 66 mhz PCI slot under the AGP slot.

I had an aging AGP system, well into the PCI-E era and bought the fastest readily available AGP cards I could find at the time. First the HIS X1950pro. Then after it died I upgraded to the HIS 4670. Both IceQ coolers and both dual slot AGP. Fun times.

Yeah same here, I kept my Abit NF7-S until late 2008. I had to upgrade as there were no more AGP cards, and single core cpus were starting to have issues.
