Nvidia Drivers don't detect DirectX 9.0?

I currently have the 61.77 drivers released from nvidia on my 6800GT and on the drivers tab it lists that im using DirectX 8.1 when I actually have Direct X 9.0c installed.

Anyone else have it like this? Does it just not detect the version correctly?

Mine says DirectX 9.0 or better... Using 61.77.

Run DXDIAG and make sure all the files are okay.

Sounds like you may have an old DX file stuck in the registry..

Try reloading DX
Go for the 9.0c version
