It's becoming more likely that Intel could build Nvidia's future GPUs. We attended a question and answer session with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang here in Taipei, Taiwan, and Huang said that the company is working to diversify its chip manufacturing and had recently received good test results for an Intel test chip based on the company's next-gen process node. His statement came after several of the questions centered around Nvidia's efforts to assure supply in the face of explosive demand for AI chips and the company's complete reliance on Taiwan-based TSMC for its most advanced GPUs.

TSMC just needs to use AI to create robots to create more AI chips.
You know like Skynet.

Like salmon returning to their ancestral waters, Nvidia's GPUs make their way back into chip factories.
TSMC, ASML, and Synopsys are all using Nvidia's accelerators to speed up or boost computational lithography. Meanwhile, KLA Group, Applied Materials, and Hitachi are now using deep-learning code running on Nv's parallel-processing silicon for e-beam and optical wafer inspection.

In addition to the three rules, I've always demanded two more, just based upon all science fiction shows, ever.

#4: Robots can never make more robots on their own, or compel humans to make more robots.
#5: All robots will have a large, physical, and easily accessable On/Off button. Must be triggerable by a pvc-pipe based .22 or a thrown rock.
