nVidia broke it...

I attempted to install the nVidia drivers for Fedora Core 10.

I exited X and began the install via level 3 (telinit 3). The drivers said they installed successfully and that I could reboot into X. Teleinit 5 brings me back to use level 5 and I'm left with a blank screen.

The screen is black and every now and then it flickers a different shade of black. If I load up Grub and edit the boot options, I can boot into level 1 and 3 with no problem at all. I can perform any command line task via these levels including uninstalling the nVidia drivers. (which I did).

Upon reboot, the same issue happens. I can install and uninstall the drivers hundred times, but no matter what I'm still left without video in level 5. In fact I'm not even sure level 5 is completely booting.

After installing the nVidia drivers I also tried to update them, however, I was at the latest version.

help me =(

Update:

After failing to boot into level 5, it brings me to a black screen with a blinking cursor where I can type, but no commands work.
