Trying to figure out whether to pay for

Tuxera: 29.95
macupdate Paragon bundle 29.95 for a bunch of products, normal retail at 99.95
or go with the free open source version OSXFUSE.

Anyone have any opinions? On a brand new rMBP 13.3

After years of putting up with issues like this, I took the "go back to Windows" option :D

You can force OSX to play nice with the rest of the world, but it's not designed to do so. If you insist on doing so, the FUSE option is probably ok, as there has been stable NTFS read/write in Linux for years (Apple just doesn't want to support it yet, probably too busy with iOS).

Even if they have second thoughts about supporting a proprietary filesystem from their competitor, (1) that didn't stop them from supporting FAT32 and (2) that's never stopped them from ditching HFS+ for EXT2/3.

If you don't mind paying, I've heard nothing but good things about Paragon.

For me it's mainly reading and writing to USB drives that co-workers on Windows give me. (yea yea I could use the cloud but 100GB photoshop files go so much faster through USB) lol
