nearly a decade ago I picked up a bunch of those korean 1440 screens, and I still love them.
But They are showing their age and Im getting brutal tearing in games. 60hz if im lucky.

I saw some other threads where people asked the same thing, and others gave sites like 144hzmonitors.com, but that site seems like a "TOP 10 BUY" ad rather than a real site. Ofcourse I search, but then I see people say "should I get X screen" and others are like "No, dont get X, its the old version and it lacks feature Y", and Im totally lost.

So Im looking for a new screen to replace my main for gaming.
My current screen is 1440 IPS and I love it.

Whats the options for a good 1440 @ 144hz ?

Here is the kicker, Im in Canada and I would like to stay below $800.

comments welcome

I love my AGON AOC Monitor, VA Panel though: https://www.amazon.ca/AOC-AG322QCX-...2QCX&qid=1550048648&s=gateway&sr=8-2-fkmrnull

You didnt state what size, there's the ACER Predator 4k 28inch: https://www.amazon.ca/Acer-UM-PX1AA...1QNN3Y6P2WW&psc=1&refRID=9FFT00ZW71QNN3Y6P2WW

Acer is IPS too, although only 60Hz, but its in your budget..https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/UM.PX1EE.001 EDIT, im not sure actually as amazon has a slightly different part number..

What size are you looking for?

Have this Acer. It is fine monitor but given recent NV Freesync support it might not be the way to go today as there are a lot more 4K VRR monitors to choose from.

@Droc
My only recommendation would be to avoid curved screens. They look wonky and screw up geometry.
