So I'm building a SFF box with a Mini-ITX MS-9803 board and a Merom T7500 Socket P Core 2 Duo CPU.

The board is acting strangely. When I power the board on it will be powered for several seconds, power off for several seconds then power on and stay turned on. There is no beep code or anything. I've run out of ideas! I've swapped every component except the CPU (due to its price) and motherboard (due to price). Anyone have any ideas of what's going on? The unit is stripped down to RAM, CPU, Mainboard and power supply - it can't get more barebones than that. It seems unlikely that there is a short because the chassis manufacturer (iDotPC) put a plastic sheet under the mainboard.

honestly i would be happy that it still works and just deal with the extended boot time. otherwise, can you rma the board? i doubt its the cpu...

It doesn't boot at all. I can probably RMA it but need to figure out what the problem is due to the expense in shipping something back to California from Canada.
