I'm thinking of putting of this instead of the stock. Right now stock is giving ok temps. But I'm installing a new XFX GeForce 7950 GT 512MB that has passive cooling. What do you think?
 
It's an excellent heatsink, though there are also other very good choices. I suggest you look into the Scythe Ninja, Scythe Infinity, Tuniq Tower, Thermalright SI-128, and Thermalright Ultra-120 as alternatives. The Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro is also an excellent budget heatsink.
