I guess Noctua updated their coolers making a smaller size 120mm brown fan version.
Which is a good thing if you ever seen the size of the NU-D15 all that weight hanging off the board.
This cooler lists for 99.00+ on Amazon so it must have some weight behind it people use
it to cool the 9900K but some overclock with it. That price is hard to swallow but if you swore off AIOs this is a good replacement.

Wow, $100 for a 120mm cooler. Their other U12 coolers are usually in the $50's (one fan).

Seems like the price is in the fans, which are going for $30 each when sold individually.

Seen some reviews on that thing and it is a beast for its size. Definitely a little heavy on the price tho.

Finally purchased one had some gift cards for X-mas going to cool my I9 10850K I got in the mail yesterday.
Watercooling might looks nice but don't want a dusty grill and possible leaks and failure to go with it.
I thought this thing would be super heavy and really it's not as heavy as I thought it would be I might even take one of the fans off it it looks
too obstructive visually. Upgrading from a Bequiet CPU cooler which was only a 150 Watt cooler and I had a 212 Evo before that.

Tried a 2 minute Intel XTU CPU stress test that is the limit for me =) CPU got up to 62 degrees I'm sure it would go higher if I did a 10 minute test but don't want to burn my chip out ;D At first when I got the I9 10850K it wouldn't even come close to benching like my 8700K I thought it was the motherboard but I enabled XMP and I got higher benchmarks over my 8700K but clock speed is everything for games.

I have a 10850K on the way and I'm going with the NH-D15S for cooling. I have that cooler here now and it doesn't seem to weigh that much more than my current ATC-800 which resembles the NH-U12A cooler. The ATC-800 performs well enough, but I wanted to get something with a little less noise levels.
