On my Windows XP SP2 laptop, when I go to select the SSID and enter the network key, ...
there is no option to select WPA from the Network Authentication dropdown, only Open and Shared, and Disabled and WEP in the Data Encryption dropdown.
How can I fix this??

(note: found this screen shot from a previous post, but it looks similar to my problem)

It is very possible that your wireless card does not support anything higher than WEP. Would suggest upgrading your Wireless Drivers (if possible) as this added WPA for an older laptop I was working on before.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,
Brian
