Some stores already sell the Platinum and Gold version of the new Prime powersupplies from Seasonic, but i cant find a singel test or any user experiences from anyone on these power supplies. The Prime Titanium series gets raving reviews and are super quiet, so i wonder how the Prime Platinum compares sound wise. Is it just as quiet, even on mid to full load? With similar performance? According to marketing its around 20dBA even on full load, which makes it the most quiet PSU that is not fanless.

I would buy a Prime Titanium, but the highest model is only 850W. I need at least 1000W/ 80amps 12V if im gonna run a power hungry multi GPU setup and i like to futureproof. If you own any Platinum or Gold version of the Prime Seasonics PSUs, i would appreciate som user input.

Right, like I said They aren't available yet. Gray market product isn't "available" and so there aren't reviews from reviews sites that buy them.
Everyone else is sitting either with product under embargo or doesn't have them in hand and done yet. Since Seasonic said Q1 2017 none of this is terribly surprising.

the 850 titanium is 280 CAD and the gold is 220$.

is 60$ more worth it for the longer hold up time and "super low ripple noise"?

The rest is the same.

you know what, I'm just buying a supernova 850 g2. Tons of good reviews. I've read a few reviews of those prime supplies dying quickly. Maybe still a few things to sort out on the manuf side, new product, premium price.

I'll go with a safe supernova 850 g2, thanks all.
