No Post on AV8 3rd Eye

Hello all. I just got my new Abit AV8, A64 3200 939 90nm, and a thermaltake Venus 12. When I have everything hooked up it doesn't post. At first it beeped at me, but the manual makes no mention of beep codes. I found out it means that the CPU is overheating. SO I went out and got some AS-5 and applied that. Same thing. So I disconnected everything and tried again. Still no post, no memory or video error beeps, and no overheat beep either. I've tried clearing the BIOS, I've got the fan running at full speed, but i can't find any reason why it's not working.

At first I thought it may be the heatsink, but so far as I've read, and correct me if I'm wrong, 754 heatsinks should be compatible with the 939's.

Any suggestions?
 
You have to update the bios, search around, for you to post i think you need to use just one memory module, and i truly dont remeber what else :(
 
I just went throught this with mine. Sent to a friend with a 130nm FX53 to flash the BIOS. Works fine now. :)
