No Options in Nvidia Control panel?

hello Hello,

When I open the nvidia control panel the only option I have is the 3D options.

I have no other options there, so I can not set up my card.

Evga GTX 580
Driver 6658

Windows 7 64 Bit

You aren't the first one to have this problem, myself and others have solved it by installing older drivers.

I had it as well while I was setting up a backup system a month ago while waiting for a PSU and Mobo RMA. Not sure what caused it. You could always check out the Nvidia forums as I'm sure there has to be other reports of it by now.

Oh, I didnt Know it is a common problem (i dont feel so bad now)

Yeah, I have that on occasion, too. I think it has to do with the "clean install" option, and I usually only got it when installing betas.
You might use driver sweeper to kill off everything and then do a new driver re-install. That should fix you up.

I had this problem and solved it by using the INF from the 260.99 and putting it in the 266.66 driver folder and installing that. Now I have 266.66 on my GTX480 with the control panel working perfectly.

Problem solved.
I re installed the same driver with audio and 3d unchecked and clean install checked.
Re booted and now I have a functioning nvidia Control panel

I just upgraded my drivers without selecting the 'clean install' and all the options are still there.
