No dark mode iOS w/Google apps?

This working for anyone? Supposed to have dark mode with Gmail. At least that's what I read. When the app first opens the sold screen is a black background but the app opens to write. I'm on 13.2 with an iPhone 7. Apps are updated.
That's on Google to update their apps to support Dark Mode. AFAIK only Youtube has a dark mode. But they've been working on that one since long before iOS13 was announced.

I understand but I read last week that it was here. Or at least rolling out for iOS.
As far as I can tell from a search it's happening via phased rollout. So if you're not one of the "lucky" ones, then you don't have it.
