It's late and I'm pretty tired... I'm very used to Intel where I can look up basically whatever I need right from ark.intel.com - it seems AMD doesn't have anything similar (at least that I can find).
I'm trying to figure out if I have an issue with ESX, or if it's just a hardware limitation. my 2nd ESX host's motherboard has the nForce Professional 3600 MCP chipset, running two Opteron 2419EEs. It's my understanding that the processor supports AMD-V. I cannot find *any* information on this chipset's capabilities though. It also doesn't help that I don't understand if AMD-V is the same as AMD-Vi and IOMMU (nothing I've found seems to explicitly state one way or the other).
Basically, what I need to know is... an Opteron 2419EE on the nForce Professional 3600 MCP chipset - should I have PCI Passthrough? I'm trying to get a PERC to pass through to a guest, and ESX is telling me the host does not support PCI passthrough.
