NF200 w/ ATI Crossfire, drivers needed?

For Best Graphics Performance on the WS board using NVIDIA cards, please use these drivers -

This is from the Asus post regarding BIOS/Driver updates for the various P67 boards.

I'm going to be getting a WS Revolution and wanted to know if these NVidia drivers were required when running ATI Crossfire.

I realize it says "using NVIDIA cards", but I wanted to make sure and get some opinions.
