Nexus 6 - 64GB - $369.99 on slickdeals.

people still buy into contracts with the big 3? why isnt everyone on straight talk or cricket yet?

I used to be on straight talk - then the job I got took me for weeks on end to remote parts of north dakota and utah (MWD Specialist)

Work paid for the phone so I had no problem signing up for Verizon as they seem to work everywhere for me.

Too bad the oil industry collapsed 6 months later :(

One reason could be network speed. Since Straight Talk/Cricket do not use their own network they do not have unfettered access to networks. Straight Talk has HUGE issues with data capping problems, with the FTC ruling that people are entitled to compensation as a result of false claims. And Cricket has capped bandwidth on their phones (towers owned by AT&T).

It is, the problem is dropping $600-$700 cash on a new Verizon flagship phone every year or two. Currently waiting to see what the next Nexus has to offer me and how much it'll be.

That's why I love Swappa. I'm also on unlimited. When It's time for an upgrade you can get the new releases used - like new for a hefty discount and sell your old phone for a good price as well if it's in good condition.
