I came across this digging up some Warsow stuff today. Seems like another arena shooter akin to Quake and Warsow but it's being rebuilt with CryEngine 3. Seems interesting. Will be available for xbl, psn and on steam. Anyone played the classic version?

If it's being designed with consoles in mind then there is unfortunately no room for advanced movement physics. This is what makes Quake and the UT series (albiet a lot less) great arena shooters allowing for such a following+longevity. Most FPS "arena shooters" now a days are just dumbed down tremendously -- with all a player being able to do is walk, jump, run, and aim. (TF2, Halo, CoD) Quake is the ultimate fusion of advanced movements, aim, etc. Warsow gets a nod but the makers of it lost direction.

Good luck to nexuiz is all I'm saying.

I agree, I wouldn't even begin to consider an arena shooter which is also built for consoles. The two things are mutually exclusive.
