New SFF gamers case: presentation and advices

Liquid is running, Bluetooth and wireless 360 adapter all working. Physx card getting here tomorrow. X-FI getting here in a few weeks (getting the X-FI mod done).

Wireless N gets here today.

All of this is internal, by the way.

Interesting approach. I've been planning on having at least WiFi and Bluetooth dongles internally myself in my upcoming Lan Gear ITX build. Can't think of anything else I could do internally, really. Especially the WiFi antenna should be nice to have internally, so there's need to remove it if/when transporting the case.

Yeah, my plan was to 100% max this case out. I don't need half this stuff, honestly, but I just felt like leaving no more room. xD

Hey everyone. For those using an SLI set up, what power supply are you using? My Corsair HX850 is 7.1 inches long and blocks about a 3rd of the 92mm fan bay adjacent to the video cards. I am working on my build now so any help would be appreciated.

RAWR!!!....hows the build coming along Zurginator?
Smooth.
I think he mean the PSU length, not your case :p
Yes, and I said ATX length. ATX is a standard used for everything in computers. :p
Oh yea Zurg...what is the X-FI mod you are talking about?
One of my buddies replaces some caps and stuff. Makes it sound better.
Zurg, your camera broke or suppin? :toetap:
Yep.

Its a bit of a mess, ATM, but you guys wanted pics, so....

Hehe, my looks a bit empty compared to that even with Corator DS :

MSI P55M-GD45, Core i3 530, Coolink Corator DS, 2x2GB DDR3 1600 CL9 (Corsair), Intel X25-M G2 80GB & Intel X25-M G1 80GB, Zotac GTS250 Eco + Accelero L2 Pro, Seasonic X-650, 3x Enermax T.B.Silence 12cm fans, Asus BD drive.

PS: The power cable is routed differently in the end, but i couldn't be bothered to make new photos for that small change :D.

Hey guys,
Just got my build finished and need some advice. I couldn't find a psu configuration to allow the front 92mm to be installed so I left that out and kept my juicy 850w psu. To make up for the lack of gpu airflow, I reversed the fan above the cards to make it intake and blow directly on my sli'ed 460's.
Unfortunately, my top card seems to be running near 80c when playing games. This is 10C hotter than it ran in my old case. I was wondering if that is just the name of the game for smaller cases or if you guys had any recommendations to help cool my cards down.

Well, I wouldn't worry about 80 C too much, even if it isn't optimal. Still usable. Don't have the case myself so can't really offer any specific fitting advice.

Like I said, the Strider Plus series. :p

Good news: Supposedly, my top panel finally shipped yesterday.

Bad news: Case needs to be 1" deeper. If it was, I would be doing 3-way 480 SLI. :(

Hello, this is my first post on this forum.

Are these guys still in business ?

I am asking because I placed an order and it's been 3 days without anything. I left numerous e-mails which have gone unanswered so far.
I am thinking of opening paypal dispute before it's too late.

Have some faith .. this is a business that's trying to get off the ground and it's not like they have their operations matured to the level of amazon.com

Therefore, shouldn't they be even more on the spot? It's litterally do or die, from what I see!

Either way, I hope these guys make it big :D

I am trying to, but having my e-mails gone unanswered is a sign I don't want to see, and it's not like they have a phone number to reach. I am going to wait 2 more days before opening a dispute.
All I have been asking them through e-mails was an order update because it's been stuck at "flagged for review". It's like nobody's there.

I'm betting the case shows up before your shipping/order updates. That's actually how my last Da Box came (only took 1 week from ordering for it to arrive). I hope I'm not wrong. Mattinv is probably swamped with the new launch in Europe. Cyberkost hit the nail on the head. I'm sure he's going to be short-staffed until he knows the business is going to succeed.

Yes, I got the case today. I am not sure what to say about the case. The build quality is ... questionable at least to my standards.
During the first hour I had it, I wanted to just return it but I decided to keep it. Overall, I am somewhat disappointed. This is not what I expected from 160USD premium case.

Looking at selling mine; it has the updated face plate and HDD cage with working power cable. If anybody is interested PM me.

hmm, I think made in the USA is one of the selling point...

Can you give more details? Thinking about getting this case eventually.

My opinion is that inside is very good, lot of thinking went into it. But the front and top/side panels are... meh. Mounting it is a mess, the rounded parts of the top never flush perfectly, i managed to scratch the part of the window when i was putting the sides back. It's good if you need case of this size, as there is no other choice. But otherwise, i would scratch the one side/top panel idea and use 3 separate panels.

Well, the SG03 is roughly the same volume (Da Box being one liter larger), but tower-shaped. And it doesn't have equally advanced fitting options - mobo tray, has CPU cooler height restriction, can't fit very long GPUs like HD 5970, can't have as many fans - but unless you're really going for a "monster" fit, it can be a nice - and cheaper - alternative.

My SG03B build actually just became what it should've been a year ago with the features I want and I'm now rather happy with it, so I had to defend it a bit :p Hehe.

So..... I finished it.
