Time to Upgrade the Monitors. I have 4770K system and 2 780GTX in SLI.

I am a heavy gamer, but am interesting on going to surround.

Monitors I am looking are

BENQ XL2420TE (known as the XL2420T REV.2 here in Europe, not to be confused with the Rev.1 which was the 120hz version)

Dell U2414H

Advantage for the BENQ -144hz, gaming profiles, TN panel, much faster refresh.

Advantages for U2414 - Very thin Bezel, IPS panel, better color, better viewing angles, 60 Euros less expensive.

BENQ is a gamers monitor designed by gamers, but the Dell is designed for multi-screen environments

Why not G-Sync?
Only 1 choice of panel (and not a very good one)
Don't have enough DP on PC for Surround
Given good GPUs, might not be as much benefit.

Your opinion?

Also consider the eizo FG2421, it is just that much better than both U2414H and XL2420T in pretty much every regard.
I would personally recommend choosing one FG2421 over 3 of any other model, if it's a budget concern, unless you want surround for some specific game you know surround works flawlessly for.
In general, it's so much better to have one great monitor since many games don't work in surround at all.

"Why not G-Sync?

IIRC the XL2420T uses the same panel as the asus?
