When do you think we should expect to see the next gen MacBook Pros?

I haven't heard a thing. A lot of it is going to depend on whether or not they want to go with Broadwell, or play the waiting game on Skylake. Reports are showing that some manufacturers like Dell are waiting on Skylake for their higher end models (e.g. XPS 15, m3800, m4800, etc.).

Skylake and broadwell are due out at roughly the same time aren't they?

Intel has most of its dual core, Broadwell-U skus out now. A lot of outlets are stating mid 2015 for their mobile quad-core and desktop stuff. There were some recent leaks from China, supposedly, regarding Intel's roadmap 2nd half 2015 on Skylake-U possibly? I don't think there is anything definite on Skylake's Mobile Quadcore (which will impact it's release on an updated rMBP 15").
