I don't know, once the case is packed with the PSU, the video card and the mobo with a nice big a** heatsink and HDs. Still you might be right after all it is an alu case with lot of openings. The more I look at it the more I like :). Now the wait for a release of this case begins!!

Once you put eveything together you'll have 4 fans total inside.

I like this revision. Even though it's a bit late, and the changes are no brainer, but I'm glad they didn't mess this revision up.

simply said they listened to us the owners of pcq7 and revised the case . something they should have done from the beginning . its a little late for me to buy this case but if it was available when i was looking this been the one i would have purchased. my case i made is almost finished and about same size as this but mine will accept a full tower heatsink and a 5850 video card

bah.. I'll take the q08. It's longer but also shorter. It also has a whole lot more internal drive bays.

The white one looks nice, but it looks like you lose the sexy brushed aluminum sheen.

Maybe this case fits reference Radeon 5850? Using 90-degree pcie-power adapters?

you can add a fan to case door at bottom of case to help with cooling video card.

Hey Jen, Is it possible for you to show me some of the pics? =)

Dear emax,

Thank you for your interest in Lian-Li’s products.

PC-Q11 is just released this month and available for local distributor to order, therefore PC-Q11 may still not be available on the market until the end of August.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

So I'm just brainstorming here but if you use a PSU extender ( http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/product06.php?pr_index=249&cl_index=2&sc_index=10&ss_index=112 ) and a smaller PSU (the "standard" depth of 5.9 in / 150 mm actually but so few seem to stick to it) I would be curious if it could then fit a H50 cooler setup.

in my pcq7 i was able to use a h50 with a sfx powersupply but not with a regular size powersupply due to distance between powersupply and motherboard.

as soon as its confirmed if this can hold a standard 5770 (no offence to whoever posted the color coded chart on the st page, but I want to see how it actually fits 1st) it may make me sell my 1055t & 5830 (maybe) just because I loved the size of my q07 so much, just not the power.

It looks like there are same changes in construction. There are differences at the front panel. Look, the USB connectors mooved down etc...

smarter idea so it doesnt interfer with the video card which was the case with the pcq7 of mine

How does this case compare to the Q08? Is it just bigger? What advantages does the Q11 have over the Q08? I'm thinking of picking up a Q08 soon, but I might wait it out, if the Q11 further improves on the Q08.

Ahh, Im Sorrry. I think, you aask for differences between Q06 and Q11 ( Not between Q08 and Q11 ).
( Just look at photos. Q11 is taller. There is more space for VGA and HDD drives. There are now two PCI bracket etc... )

Completely Ignore this.. The only thing on this thats accurate is that its taller (q11 is 326mm compared to the q08 at 272mm). Beyond that the q08 is much deeper & Can hold larger Video cards then the q11. It also has room for 4x 3.5" drives with a long video card & 6 with a short or no video card. The q11 is an upgrade of the q07 & if you were comparing the 2 then all of the above would be true.

No you mean q07, not q06. THe q06 is a test bench & would not have any limits to the video cards since its open air.

So whats missing from the video card list on the previous page is the GTX460. That little guy is only 8.25" (22CM) long so it should fir with plenty of room to spare for connectors.. Between that & the Asus mITX board that just got released I am now way psyched for this case more then ever to the point that I have already put my rig up on FS/T in hopes that I will have everything just waiting for this case at its release.
