I came across the a picture of what appears to be the Dev board for the Intel AMD project. It is looks like an awesome form factor for SFF.

It doesn't seem to quite match any current form factor, but looks very well laid out.

It looks like a slightly bigger STX board, but still very small package to include some low-mid range GPU.

This is amazing! Thank you Intel and AMD for working together to make this happen.

With a little luck, we'll be seeing NUC or NUC-derivatives with this chip for sale in a few months, but I have a hunch these, like several previous Iris Pro chips, will be in short supply due to demand from Apple for a while at least.

I hope not. So far Iris Pro lineup is a total fail - you literally can't find a notebook with such chip that doesn't have a dGPU. Notebook makers are just matching the CPU price to the notebook tier instead of putting a better iGPU inside an ultrabook...

What is more, I hope they won't strip the HBM from most of the models like they did with iris pro edram...

That's a dev board even if its true.

It has no built-in front IO ports.
    It has two SATA ports.
It has standard 4 pin EPS power port.

Well, other than the 13" MBP and some of the Surface lineup. But actually finding a laptop that doesn't cost an assload of money for midling specs with Iris Pro is, well...

As for the other person's comment on NUC stuff, I wouldn't bet on any of them being decently priced.
