New Farm is on-line.

Wow Tigerbiten, your farm sounds fantastic.

I like how "humble" you sounded when I began reading this thread "only 5 Q6600's". Then at the end of the thread it was 7x Q6600's @ 3.1 ghz and 2x X5535's @2.66 Ghz.

The correct count is 7x Q6600's @ 3.1 ghz and 4x X5535's @2.66 Ghz on-line now.
I've 1 more Q6600 @3.1 Ghz to build and bring on-line to finish my farm.

I use 6 or 7 120mm fans to keep the air moving in the Lian Li cases than house the Xeons.
Not sure how toasty my FB-Dimms are but they do run a little bit on the warm side.

Luck ........... :D

Tigerbiten.. you said you were using the Thermalright HR-01X heatsink on the Xeon's.
What heatsink are you using on the Q6600. Any clearance or mounting issues with a large heatsink on the Q6600's M/B?

I'm useing the Thermalright MST-9775 LE heatsink on my Q6600's.
I got them for my E6600's but never go around to fitting them.
Because of the air flow through my blades due to 2x 120mm fans, they keep the Q6600's core temps at just under 60C.
I could get better heatsinks and overclock a bit more, but I had them any they work ok.

Luck ........... :D

Just started to run Memtest+ on my last boxen.

Luck ........... :D

Passed memtest ok.
Pulled the old MoBo out of the case and installed the new one.

I've just had a long chat to someone in India.
I had to re-activate 5 copies of Windoze over the phone.
The other 4 copies activated over the internet.
But I've got to install one more copy in my last box.
And I want to re-install one copy in another box because its running slow, its down around 200 PpD.

Then its just tweaking the farm.
One of my new Q6600 runs at only 1.275v, I want to pull it out of my blade and put it in the computer I know will run the hottest.
Then install my 150Gb Raptor & sound card in one of my dual Xeon's.
So there is still around a weeks work left I think.

Luck ............. :D

Holy smoke Tigerbiten

Between you and the other heavy hitters on the great [H]ard folding team 33 the amount of pernts for the Chimp Challenge will need to be more than 20 million just so it'll last the weekend. (Yeah, I've heard it's [H]ard to be humble) :D

THANX

Finished building.
I just need to re-install Windoze on one box and I'm totally finished.

10 Boxen.
12 CPU's, 8x Q6600's @3.1Ghz & 4x X5355's @2.66 Ghz.
46 Gb Ram, 8x 4Gb, 1x 6Gb, 1x 8Gb.
24 VM's. 16x ~2,050 PpD, 8x ~1,575 PpD, Total ~45,000 PpD.
2kW/h Power used, 8x ~165 watts + 1x ~330 watts + 1x ~370 watts.
Cost. An arm .......... :p

Luck ........... :D

Cost. An arm .......... :p
Be careful with your arm... Seriously, great work. All that sweat must feel very rewarding now that everything is up and running. Your output has already skyrocketed. I can just imagine what it will be after your stats catch up with the last builds.

Didn't we just celebrate a 8mil milestone for you?

Your coming up on 9mil quick and 10mil isn't that far off

Impressive!
